Noctua NF-F12 PWM Cooling Fan

Noctua NF-F12 PWM Cooling Fan and Corsair H100 Fan Picture Comparison

Picture of the Noctua box, fan, wiring harnesses, and hardware.

Front, Back, and Side Comparison Photos.

As you can see, both fans are very similar. The main difference is the Noctua has more rear stationary fins which helps directing air in a tighter cone.

I like the Noctua fan a lot. There is rubber padding on the edges and protection around the wiring harness. There is a high quality feel to the fan, whereas the Corsair H100 fan feels extremely cheap and the wiring is flimsy.

I've noticed that my CPU temps have dropped a couple degrees on idle and full load with the Noctua fans. The main benefit is how quiet the Noctua fans are compared to the stock Corsair fans, they quietly hum along whereas the Corsair screams widely.

I bought my fans from Amazon and saved a few dollars, the local electronics stores were selling for more.

Great upgrade for running a push/pull setup for your Corsair water cooling setups.
